Produced by G.D. Searle & co under the Anavar label in 60’s Oxandrolone had its ups and downs. After massive pressure on steroid manufacturers from the FDA, Oxandrolone almost wholly disappeared from the markets but came back in the mid-’90s under the Oxandrin label. Today, Oxandrolone is much more affordable than it was some decades ago, yet it can still be called one of the most expensive anabolic steroids. It has numerous therapeutic applications and is widely used to treat traumas, muscular dystrophy, osteoporosis and hormonal and nutritional dysfunction.
